The Idaho Dental Hygienists’ Association (IDHA) is the recognized professional organization representing licensed dental hygienists across Idaho. IDHA serves as a key stakeholder in advancing oral health policy and workforce development to support improved health outcomes for Idaho communities.

The mission of the Idaho Dental Hygienists’ Association is to advance the art and science of dental hygiene to improve overall public health. IDHA works to ensure equitable access to high-quality, preventive oral healthcare services; promote evidence-based, cost-effective prevention strategies; and uphold the highest standards of dental hygiene education, licensure, professional practice, and research. In addition, IDHA advocates for policies that strengthen the dental hygiene workforce and support the integration of oral health into broader healthcare systems.
